End: 22:30 Ancient music returns to resonate in one of the most evocative and significant places in Piedmont: the historic Pieve di San Pietro in Vincoli in Settimo Torinese, recently restored, becomes the protagonist of a mini festival dedicated to medieval music, designed to enhance the historical, artistic and spiritual heritage of the Romanesque complex through the meeting of architecture, history and sound. The three events on the programme will accompany the audience on a journey through the musical culture of the Middle Ages: from the Italian courts of the fourteenth century to the sacred and secular repertoires of the European tradition, all the way to instrumental sounds performed on faithful copies of historical instruments. • 4 September - D’Amore e altre cortesie , Ensemble Dracma (Angelo Basile viella and voice, Anna Bergamini voice, Sofia Masut harp • 5 October - Musica Enchiriadis.
