Address: via San Lorenzo 21, Museo AcdB - 1512x Alessandria At the ACdB Museum, in Palazzo del Monferrato, at via San Lorenzo 21, from 6 May 2026 to 2 August, the exhibition “Alessandria and the Giro d’Italia: a long love story” tells the historic bond between the city and the Giro d’Italia. The route, enriched with digital contributions (including a game for younger children), retraces over a century of cycling, from the origins of 1909 to contemporary protagonists, weaving together great champions and local stories. There is also space for identity-defining pages such as Giorgio Zancanaro’s victory in 1967 and the story of the domestiques, including Sandrino Carrea. The exhibition also includes original and historic pink jerseys (Herbie Sykes collection), Magni’s trophy (1951) and Franco Balmamion’s endless one, digital content and immersive installations, including a room dedicated to the era of the draisine for an interactive experience designed to involve audiences of all ages.
