Mostra "1946. Luci e ombre della rinascita" - Asti

Govone, 9, Asti The State Archives of Asti and the Institute for the history of the Resistance and contemporary society in the province of Asti (ISRAT) are organizing the documentary exhibition “1946: lights and shadows of rebirth”, open to visitors at the State Archives from 18 September to 20 November 2026 during the Institute’s opening hours. The exhibition, part of the four-year project carried out by the two Institutes, aims to tell what 1946 represented for the population of the Province of Asti, amid political events that marked the life of the country and an everyday life that struggled to return to normal. The opening is scheduled for Friday 18 September 2026 at 17:00, with the possibility of visiting until 19.30. The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 15:30, with the possibility of booking guided tours for individuals or groups. Special openings are planned on the occasion of the European Heritage Days: 26 and 27 September and on the occasion of Sunday of Paper, 4 October.
