“Merende da leoni”: la biblioteca di leone e… san francesco

Address: Entrance from Via Leone, 19, Vercelli Saturday 24 October, the second of three events for children with “Leonic snacks: Leone’s library and…”, meetings at the Museo Leone library with the aim of stimulating imagination, wonder and emotions by peeking through the pages of its volumes. “Leonic snacks: Leone’s library and… Saint Francis” is a 360-degree experience: observing books and perceiving their smell, discovering the great work behind the creation of the volumes, with also volumes copied and decorated by Franciscan friars, on display in the Sala d’Ercole on the occasion of the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis. This is followed by a snack for everyone and a final game. All meetings will last about an hour and a half (snack included) and require entry from Via Leone, 19.
