Address: Via Cavour, Monforte d'Alba (CN) 12065 Works by local artists will be exhibited at the Oratorio S. Agostino in Monforte d'Alba until 8 November 2026. Each artist's exhibition lasts one or two consecutive weeks, according to the artist's personal choice. The aim is to make the Oratorio di Sant'Agostino a reference point for visitors to the Langhe who plan their stops around events and experiences. The present Oratorio di S. Agostino e S. Bonifacio is now a deconsecrated church, most probably built in the mid-sixteenth century (the '500s). It overlooks Piazza della Chiesa Antica and is one of the symbols of the historic village. For centuries it was the home of the Disciplinanti, an ancient archconfraternity that was closed during the Napoleonic era. Following several restoration projects to strengthen the structure, and the latest work in 2023 on the two remaining altars, the building, now owned by the municipality, hosts exhibitions, conferences, concerts and cultural events. The first artists to exhibit will be Sara Melis from 20 to 26 April and Gabriella Piccatto from 27 April to 10 May. From 14 to 23 August, works by Francesco Segreti will be exhibited. From 24
