La Grande Muraglia 260K

Place: Pinerolo La Grande Muraglia 260K is an endurance trail event whose start is set for Wednesday 9 June at 18 from Pinerolo (TO), which will take the athletes to test themselves on a 260-kilometre course along an itinerary that contains within it history and nature, fortifications, ancient paths and alpine valleys. La Grande Muraglia 260K was born drawing inspiration from major international endurance trail experiences, such as the Tor des Glaciers, the PTL or the 360° Challenge Transgrancanaria. If Alessandra Nicoletti and Ermanno Pollet built the history of their great adventures starting from the trails of Alta Via 1 and 2 of the Aosta Valley, Omar Riccardi and Gianluca Logozzo chose to start from a new itinerary strongly desired by the local administrations: “Le Strade dei Forti”. A trek of over 230 kilometres starting from the Pinerolo plain, created with the aim of promoting an area that today, thanks to the strong support of the Local Authorities, finds in La Grande Muraglia 260K an additional way to make itself known.
