Jazzal 2026. rassegna di musica jazz

Venue: Various locations. Address: Various locations, 15121 Alessandria, AL This edition of Alessandria's jazz festival marks the centenary of two giants of this musical genre: Miles Davis and John Coltrane, both born in 1926, when jazz was experiencing its classical period and its star was Louis Armstrong. Artistically developed at Charlie Parker's court in the bebop era, Miles Davis and John Coltrane later developed two personal and different musical languages, becoming in turn models for future generations. Over a period of time that has now passed the century mark, jazz has crossed through several generations, each leaving its legacy and contributing to an extraordinary evolution. And even today jazz history continues. In the 2026 Jazzal program, musicians of different ages present their musical proposals, each drawing on different legacies, from the swing of the origins to the unsurpassed modernity of Davis and Coltrane. The program includes: Saturday 19 September 2026 at 16.30. Jazzal 2026 presentation at the Auditorium of the Vivaldi Conservatory, via Parma 1 Alessandria with a performance by students of the Jazz Department
