Incontro con Rinaldo Aluffo

Address: Back Forward Saturday 10 October - 18.00 Municipal Library Rinaldo Aluffo presents "Il risveglio" moderated by: Chiara Bertolotti Marco Torrenti is thirty-five years old, lives in Turin and works as a freelancer in the world of digital communication. For some time he has been carrying out a graphic novel project dedicated to the urban transformation of the city: neighborhoods that change face, shops that disappear, collective memories erased by progress. One ordinary afternoon, however, Marco falls asleep on the sofa and misses a decisive appointment with an important Turin editor. What seems like yet another sabotage of his career instead turns into the unexpected beginning of a new path. The meeting with a group of young students and artists will lead him to shift his gaze from the pages to the walls of the city. Thus a movement made of images, memory and resistance is born: murals that tell forgotten stories, buildings that become trees, roots that bring back to light what risked being erased.
