Organizer: Fondazione per la Cultura Torino Open spaces in closed places 8-11 October 2026 For four days in Turin, the places of legality, traditionally closed, will welcome citizens and become open spaces for discussion and exchange. Council chambers, courts, barracks, correctional institutions will host dialogues, lectures, performances, workshops and guided tours to explore the themes of legality from new perspectives. Culture of legality and the construction of a society based on shared responsibility, participation and care for the common good: these are the principles contained in “ Una società si-cura ”, the theme chosen for this edition. A simple hyphen changes perspective: “sicura” becomes “si-cura”, transforming safety from a request for protection into shared responsibility. The theme comes at a time when the word safety occupies public debate almost exclusively in the lexicon of defense and fear.
