The regional listing describes the programme as follows: The event, created to promote white truffles, gathered in the square in the finest sizes from the very early hours of the morning, also presents a market of renowned local specialties, from honey to “cougnà”, alongside the stands of wine producers and the food stands run by the various Pro Loco that, for the occasion, offer specific local dishes, such as the tasty “friciula con il lardo”. An event dedicated to the king of the autumn table and to the food and wine excellence of the area. The 2019 edition, which saw the event awarded national status, was accompanied by the twinning of flavours and culture with Città di Castello (PG), a municipality in Umbria belonging to the National Association “Città del Tartufo” and by the hospitality of
