End: 19:00 The National White Truffle Fair of Monferrato in Montechiaro d’Asti is one of the autumn events dedicated to the food and wine culture of the Monferrato area. The historic center of the town becomes the heart of a large market exhibition in which the white truffle is the star, together with agricultural products and local gastronomic excellence. The event is recognized as a fair of national level. At the center of the festival is the White Truffle of Monferrato, a precious product of the Piedmont woods and hills, celebrated through exhibitions, sales and gastronomic proposals. In the restaurants and refreshment points of the town, truffle-based menus are prepared, offering the opportunity to appreciate its aromas and characteristics paired with dishes from the local cuisine. Alongside the truffle there is a market of typical products, expression of the agricultural and food and wine vocation of Monferrato.
