The regional information sheet describes the programme as follows: An ancient patronal festival, which finds its roots about 250 years ago, reproposing the traditions of the past but always under the banner of innovation during the days of celebration dedicated to local excellences. In this context the event opens, strongly wanted by some prominent citizens of Corneliano of the eighteenth century, an appointment welcomed by the entire community and officially established with the “Regie patenti” of 7 May 1784 by Vittorio Amedeo III of Savoy. The Fair, which since the eighteenth century has exerted a strong public appeal, born with a mainly agricultural character, today also develops in the commercial and craft sectors, giving space to local and Italian typical products as well as agricultural machinery and vintage tractors. Leading the enhanced local typical products are Favorita wine, the wines of Roero and the Madernassa pear, which are the subject of confront. It is organised by Municipality. Hours: from
