Organizer: International Festival of Economics “ Saving the welfare state ” is the title of the fifth edition . Four days of meetings, dialogues and in-depth discussions with economists, scholars, writers, journalists and leading figures in the Italian and international public debate Demographic crisis and population aging, transformations in work and growth in inequalities, healthcare and access to treatment, childhood and educational opportunities, migration, artificial intelligence, wars and new geopolitical balances: these are some of the great transformations that today put the welfare state to the test and that will be at the center of this edition's program. Among the over 130 events , the Festival will bring some of the world's leading economists to Torino, starting with the six Nobel Prize winners present at the Festival. The program will also be structured in the different formats that characterize the event, including: Dialogues, Key Words, Visions, Meetings with the Author, Comparisons, Intersections, In History, Future Economics and Cineconomics.
