Address: various locations The Festival of Welcome was born in 2020 from an initiative of the Migrants Ministry of the Archdiocese of Turin to strengthen its work of reflection and awareness-raising. An opportunity to stop and reflect on welcome, on the obstacles and challenges to building inclusive and cohesive communities. The Festival program is long and rich: 50 days of events in which welcome, inclusion, justice and humanitarian law, multiculturalism and faith are discussed, with more than 160 guests and over one hundred events among debates, theatre, music, workshops, cinema, exhibitions, spirituality. Among the themes of the 2026 edition are dialogue between the Christian and Islamic worlds, security and humanitarian law. On meekness as an antidote to aggressiveness, on 29 October, Cardinal Roberto Repole and essayist Gabriella Caramore will speak in the meeting “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth”.
