Location: Teatro Regio Torino. Organizer: Teatro Regio Torino | 12 November 2026 Ecstasy Andrea Battistoni Under the guidance of Music Director Andrea Battistoni, the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio delves into a vortex of mystery and sensuality. The enveloping exotic scents of Saint-Saëns' Bacchanale give way to the tragic intensity of Berlioz, who with La Mort de Cléopâtre portrays the supreme and fatal ecstasy of the Queen of Egypt — to whom mezzo-soprano Antoinette Dennefeld will give a sweet voice and vertiginous vocal runs. The concert then turns into a celebration of overwhelming rhythms, with the music from two ballets that radiate Iberian passion: the three dances from Falla's Sombrero de tres picos, with their Andalusian pride, and Ravel's Boléro, hypnotic and overwhelming.
