Between September and November, the programme offers routes suitable for hikers and families, to discover some of the most evocative corners of the area. In October, the woods come alive with the deep and ancient call of the king of the forest in the evening excursion for the elk rut in Val Sorba, then leading walkers to the foot of the majestic glaciers of Alagna, or among the millenary secrets of the Grotte di Ara and the evocative rocks of the ancient supervolcano of Boca. In November, the journey continues in the enchanted silence of Alta Val Sermenza and the Vallone di Roy in Fobello, where with a keen eye and a bit of luck it is possible to observe up close the wildlife preparing for the long winter.
