Organizer: Musei Civici Domodossola From Sunday 19 July to Sunday 25 October, at Palazzo San Francesco and Casa De Rodis in Domodossola, the event "Ornamenta: Treasures of elegance and identity in Ossola" will take place. It is an exhibition focusing on the production of objects, paintings, costumes and designs made by Ossolan craftsmen. In particular, one section of the exhibition is devoted to goldsmith production through the display of earrings, brooches and necklaces in dialogue with contemporary paintings in which such objects appear, as well as plaster models, and some original and unpublished preparatory drawings; these are joined by work tools of local provenance. Finally, some garments, hats, fabrics, buckles, fabric moulds and mannequins made at the end of the nineteenth century are on display.
