Da Netflix al teatro: Baby Reindeer debutta a Saluzzo

End: 23:00 The 2026-2027 season of the Cinema Teatro Magda Olivero in Saluzzo, organised by Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo together with the Municipality of Saluzzo and Ratatoj APS, continues with one of the year’s most eagerly awaited events. On Thursday 10 December, at 21, "Baby Reindeer / Piccola renna" will be staged, the famous monologue written by Scottish comedian Richard Gadd from which Netflix drew the acclaimed television miniseries in 2024. For the first time translated and staged in Italy, the play stars Francesco Mandelli in an intense acting performance in the role of the main character, directed by Francesco Frangipane. A gesture of kindness and a suffocating obsession: the plot At the centre of the work is the story of an aspiring comedian who works as a bartender in a pub in London. His life changes radically the day he performs a simple gesture of kindness towards a shabby customer in evident difficulty. From that moment on, the woman begins to develop a growing and morbid obsession towards him, insinuating herself with ever greater insistence into his everyday life
