The Alps, in particular, are the reason why the area of central-southern Europe has always been one of the most prosperous on the planet: water, energy, raw materials, food... The effects of the benefits of this extraordinary environment extend as far as the distant plains and the sea. Often however, after having admired and enjoyed its beauty and the services it provides, we experience the Alpine nature almost as an encumbrance, like a beautiful piece of furniture that at a certain point becomes “too much”. In reality, this is not the case and if we take a few moments each day to observe the world around us, in any situation, we realise how rich, strong, generous and wonderful the Alpine environment is. The CleanAlp project protects and enhances it together with hundreds of enthusiasts, placing these territories and these communities at the centre of attention.
