The Sizzano DOC Wine Exhibition was born in 1970 to celebrate the rich agricultural and food-and-wine tradition of Sizzano through the promotion of local wines – already praised by Camillo Benso Count of Cavour – and other excellences including gorgonzola DOP, Toma della Valsesia, rice, honey and paniscia. In this unique setting, visitors can immerse themselves in a sensory experience among wine, gastronomy and shows with the opportunity to taste the prized Sizzano DOC and Colline Novaresi DOC, native wines obtained from Nebbiolo, Vespolina, Uva Rara and Erbaluce grapes, displayed in a charming cellar in the ancient ricetto. Each evening is animated by shows and live music and nature lovers can take part in the walks organized by the event, in order to explore the hill and wine-growing landscapes of the area, discovering the beauty of Sizzano through routes designed to enhance the beauty of the territory.
