Address: Piazza Rossetti, Alba (CN) 12051 On Sunday 6 December, the MUDI – Diocesan Museum of Alba organises, for the pre-Christmas period, a special afternoon of guided tours on the bell tower of the Cathedral of San Lorenzo. The Mudi guides will accompany you up to 45 metres in height through the double structure of the Romanesque bell tower, giving you the chance to discover the presence of two bell towers from the tenth and twelfth century. After admiring from above the “city of 100 towers” wrapped in the Christmas atmosphere, you will go down to the museum to taste hot herbal teas and local products to exchange Christmas wishes. This will be followed by the guided tour continuing through the archaeological path and the lapidary museum beneath the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, which will allow you to learn about the Roman and medieval remains of the city.
