38° Fiera di San Bernardo

In the majestic landscape of the Alps, at the foot of Monte Rosa, Macugnaga hosts every summer the Fiera di San Bernardo, an event that blends the sacred, Alpine tradition and community life in a truly unique atmosphere. The festival takes its name from the patron saint of the mountain and its inhabitants, but it is also an opportunity to discover Walser culture and its typical products. During the fair, the historic center fills with craft stalls, zero-kilometre products, mountain pasture cheeses, honey, liqueurs and wooden handicrafts. There are also parades in costume, traditional music, folk performances and outdoor activities, designed for the whole family. The Fiera di San Bernardo is not just a festival, but a journey through time and the spirit of the Alpine valleys, where the mountain is not just a backdrop, but the star.
